“Just give me a few minutes alone, I will figure this out,” Amelia says as she walks out of the cell. She goes outside and Kai and I follow her quietly, while everyone else stays behind. She walks to the border and takes a seat on the grass with her legs crossed.
She puts her hands on the ground and closes her eyes. Kai and I exchanged a look, but remained silent. We don’t want to piss her off more than she already is. We feel it when she accesses the power deep inside her. I hear the whispers in the wind and the ground.
This is a major threat if the land is as worried as I can feel they are. We should've told Amelia sooner. Kai was right, and we should’ve listened to him. I think we can only hear them now, because Amelia is allowing us to, so that we know what is going on.
