My walk back to the village took over several hours just like the first day as I chose the more unsafe of the two pathways that led from the castle. I wanted the shortest way to the village which was this, not the stream pathway. I was very careful on the dangerous mountain road that led from the castle. One slip in the wrong direction and I could easily break my ankle or worse, fall over the edge completely and I doubted I would survive that fall. No one would.  It was lightly raining but I did not mind the water. It gave a coolness to the already warm autumn air. My hair though was now weighted down with the wet. I pulled the braid that was still remaining from the night before loose letting my hair fall completely back. I would love to tie it up right now so that I don’t fell the damp
