“The most interesting thing is that you and Jaxen disappeared together. Oh, and I heard Ryan Parker has gone crazy and wants to get married. He's been dressing up and going on blind dates, including with some of our high school classmates. Do you think he lost his mind because you broke up with him?”
I burst out laughing.
“After seeing how abnormal Jaxen became when he entered the graveyard of marriage with me, shouldn't Ryan be running in the opposite direction? Don't make me laugh. I'm going to die.”
“That's the strange thing about people. They can complain that romance is disgusting while secretly envying the way love makes someone act unlike themselves.”
