Scarlett POV
The second Delaney walked through the door, I looked up.
“So you’re not spending the night with Winston Jackson?”
“Nope.” She put the food on the table.
“I ran into Gary Hirsch while we were eating, so I left.”
I frowned. “Were you worried Gary would figure out what’s going on between you and Winston?”
That was my first thought.
“If Winston has already told Gary, hiding it will not help.”
I had seen how close Winston and Gary were when we needed help to get Delaney out of trouble.
There was a good chance Winston had already told him everything.
“No. I was worried Gary would ask me to do something for him.” She opened the food containers and arranged everything on the table, then handed me a fork and knife.
