“Jenny Gordon is apparently the woman the Jackson family wants Winston to marry.”
I rubbed my forehead.
“I don’t know how she found out the father of my baby is Winston Jackson, but she sent someone to my law firm to verify it.”
I gave a helpless laugh. “I’ve already been paid by the Jackson family. I can’t tell her.”
Scarlett snorted.
“The problem isn’t Jenny Gordon. It’s the Jackson family.”
She had a point.
Winston’s baby wasn’t even born, and his family had already started arranging a marriage for him.
Jenny had apparently investigated him and discovered he had a child on the way.
From her perspective, that wasn’t exactly unreasonable.
