“You are not taking our son,” Altair growls out through me. He’d never hurt Molly, but he’s furious with her.
“I am,” she says firmly, crossing her arms.
I take a deep breath, trying not to lose my s**t on my mate. She can’t possibly be serious. “Why?”
She looks up at me, and I can see all the sadness there. This was a huge betrayal, and she’s hurting so badly. “I need her to look at Andrew and tell me herself that she did anything to try to hurt him.”

“I need him to touch her and let me hear her thoughts,” she continues. “I need to know what else she’s hiding before the loss of the bond kills her. What if there’s more?”
