As we finished with our greetings to each other the waitress took their drink order and when she brought the drinks back to the table, we all gave her our order as we then made small talk just before our meal came out to the table.
With our meal ate and at Julie’s and Helen’s house, we all sat down in the living room visiting with Helen and me drinking a beer and Julie and mom drinking wine, we all got everyone caught up to date with all that has happened in our lives.
When Aunt Julie and mom had finished off the second bottle of wine, "Where is the closest hotel for Roger and I to sleep at while we are here?" I noticed that mom’s words were a bit slurred from the wine she has drunk.
