It was a small bus and very popular. All the seats were full when we got on. I had one hand on the luggage rack to steady me and the other at my side. Mom faced me, sort of to one side. She had a kind of gown/wrap thing over her suit. She put her hands on my shoulders to steady herself. The bus made a few stops. A lot of people got on and soon we were stuffed into a mob of people. I mean stuffed like a Japanese subway. The way we were standing, my mother's legs were sort of straddling my right leg and my hand, palm towards my leg was at the same level as the vee in mom's swimsuit. Inches away.
