Axel pulled back from me for a moment and felt my head, then lifted the bottom of my shirt to examine my back and stomach.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"We got home just in time. You're burning up." He says.
"Oh crap. Seriously?" I asked.
"Yeah. You're going into heat." He says.
"I'll be in the shower." I sighed getting off the desk and I dragged my feet out of the office and I heard Axel chuckling behind me.
I knew that he needed to make arrangements for the pack before we locked down the bedroom so I went upstairs to the bedroom and I stripped down and got in the shower and I didn't realize that I was even running a fever until I got in the shower because the cold water felt so good on my skin.
