I was hit with wave after wave of that unbearable heat and Axel never once complained. He never once rejected me. He helped me through the whole thing. The longer it went on, the more exhausted we both got. We tried different positions. And towards the end of it, Axel was lying behind me, because it took less effort on both of our parts. After all, we were totally exhausted. With no sleep and relentless heat, we knew we just had to ride it out. It was becoming increasingly painful towards the end, but the heat finally started to subside after two days.
Axel opened the windows to let the room air out but by the time he came back to lie down on the bed I was already asleep and he wasn't far behind me. Still cuddling up to me, but completely out to it. Dreamless sleeps because of how tired
