"It was a setup. They used Chloe to try to convince me to leave the pack. They thought I would run away." I say, and Axel stood up straight, and a scary-sounding growl ripped from his throat. "It makes sense," Jordan says. He was the only other person who knew the truth about what happened. "What are you all talking about?" A warrior asked. "You don't need the specifics. But they tried to drive me out of the pack. And they were going to blow the place then." I say. "But it didn't work. You didn't leave. Thank the goddess." Axel says. I wasn't sure how the hell we were going to find out what they were doing without people leaving the territory. And we now know that was far too dangerous. They were watching the pack from outside the shield, and they knew where the tunnels came out.
