Mason had skipped the meeting at Church, much to Declan's annoyance, because he had promised to pick Sage up himself. He didn't regret it for a second. If he had gone with the other men, he would probably still be sitting around a table listening to club business while Sage dealt with another shitty day alone, and he wasn't about to let that happen.
Besides, Declan had enough men to argue over business without him.
Their first stop had been a local restaurant where Mason ordered a bucket of spicy fried chicken, a large pepperoni pizza, garlic bread, and a box of honey-glazed wings. Sage had insisted on adding loaded fries and two bottles of soda, then remembered Harper was on a week's leave and demanded they get something for her too.
