Vivienne felt invisible.
She sat beside Rhett on the back porch overlooking the training yard.
The evening air carried the smell of pine trees, gasoline and barbecue drifting from the clubhouse kitchen.
Rhett leaned forward on the wooden railing, rubbing tired hands over his face.
His mind wasn't here…It hadn't been for days and Vivienne noticed.
She noticed everything. Especially the way none of the boys hovered around her anymore.
Mason barely looked in her direction. Cole disappeared into his workshop every chance he got and Jace, Jace who always asked about her, has buried himself in club business.
