Harper's innocent question still hung over the dining room like smoke after a fire.
"Why do all of you keep saying Sage left? You all are staring at me as if I denoted a time bomb.. ugh!"

The silence had done all the talking and Cole pushed his chair back first.
"I've got work in the shop."
