Chapter 19 Damien slipped both hands into the pockets of his jeans and looked around the room as though he owned it. Maybe in his mind, he did. His gaze eventually returned to Sage. Damien was the first to break it. "You've lost weight," he said calmly as he studied her face. Sage folded her arms tighter. "I've also gained common sense. Funny how life works."
