Sage's annoyance tripled the moment she saw Vivienne.
Of all the people in Colorado she could have run into today, it had to be Vivienne.
Just her luck.
Binx shot beneath a supply shelf while Mochi darted toward the reception desk. Peaches, being the dramatic little menace he was, immediately climbed onto a chair and started yowling like he was being murdered.
The entire clinic descended into chaos.
"Peaches!" Sage groaned.
She shoved one carrier under her arm and hurried after him before he could knock over a tray of medical supplies.
"Get down from there."
Peaches meowed louder and Mason rubbed his forehead.
"Still stubborn."
Sage ignored him..she wasn't here for conversations.
The second she scooped Sunny into her arms, she felt eyes burning into her.
