Jace had been watching Cole for nearly twenty minutes and it's not because Cole was doing anything particularly interesting.
Normally, Jace would have found a way to annoy him but he couldn't.
Vivienne was still missing and now they knew Scarlett had lied to them.
That fact alone had been enough to send Rhett into another round of pacing.
He had crossed the same stretch of floor so many times that Boone finally told him he was wearing a path into it.
Rhett ignored him but Jace leaned forward.
"So, are we actually doing something, or are we going to sit here until sunrise and watch Cole bully that laptop?"
Cole didn't look up. "I'm not bullying it, Dad said we need to handle this so I'm trying to figure out how to get in there without causing a damn scene."
