Nina's expression sharpened, she realised it's about her.
"Of course you're enjoying this," she said. "You get to sit there with all these men looking at you like you're the center of their f*****g universe, and now you get to watch me being embarrassed. You must be thrilled."
Sage slowly put down her fork.
"Actually, Nina, I was enjoying my breakfast until you came in shouting about how much you missed Rhett. Then you sat on his lap after he told you to get off him, and now you're angry because he won't pretend you're in a relationship. I don't know what you expected me to do, but I can assure you that watching you humiliate yourself wasn't on my morning schedule."
Mason's lips twitched.
Cole stared at Sage with undisguised admiration.
