She stood looking at the newspaper article about Damien and Chloe having supposedly eloped overseas. There were a few pictures of them for her to see in the society pages. One of the two of them coming from the courthouse, Chloe in a simple cream-coloured dress and a picture of their hands, both were wearing wedding bands.
Though Damien was wearing a suit, he was also sporting a pair of crutches due to having a broken leg. There was no sign of either of their parents at the courthouse. That was a little odd to her.
