I had accidentally mentioned that we would be moving into our new house and Chiara insisted on joining us and ended up dragging her twin into it.
She was currently standing in the middle of the living room directing movers like she’d been doing this her whole life. “That lamp goes by the window—no, the other window. The tall one. Yes, perfect. Serena, tell them the rug should be centered.”
Serena, who was unpacking books nearby, glanced up. “It’s already centered.”
Chiara tilted her head. “It could be more centered.”
