I woke up alone in my room.
I wasn’t sure how they knew which one was mine though.
Realizing I hadn’t brushed or had my bath since I woke up, I rushed straight to the bathroom. When I was speaking to them earlier, did my breath stink? That would be so embarrassing.
I didn’t waste much time in the bathroom. Thirty minutes later, I was out and dressed in fresh clothes. It was one in the afternoon by then.
My stomach growled, reminding me that I hadn’t eaten since last night.
When I walked out of my room, I stopped in my tracks. Rafael and Nikolai were still in the living room, both of them sitting on the couch and watching TV.
They both turned around when they heard me.
“You’re up,” Rafael said as he approached me. “Are you hungry?”
