I had a long day. Well, it was mostly spent doing nothing since there was nothing new to work on. My phone was silent but I could see that Ralph and Nik had called and left texts. I didn’t have it in me to respond.
I was more than ready to get comfortable on my bed and turn off my phone, but as soon as I stepped into the lobby, I saw a face I didn’t want to see.
