When I talked to my therapist about what happened (I recently found out that she's a member of the Italian Mafia family, she's related to Dom's Aunt Gabriella. She is Luciano's brother Silvano's wife. So it was safe for me to talk to her. At the time I felt that no guy would ever actually want me for me. I was covered in scars and just felt ugly. I expressed to her that I wouldn't ever be able to find my dream guy, settle down, get married, and have babies.
She told me that I still had time for all of that, I was still just a kid after all. And one day a man or men would come along and sweep me off of my feet and then I'd get my dream wedding and babies. She told me to think about what kind of wedding I would want. And then get a scrapbook and wedding magazines or any kind of magazines.
