Mr. Cruz shrugged with mock innocence, a taunting smile playing at his lips.
"I didn't kidnap you. You got into the car yourself." His eyes gleamed with cruel amusement. "Alpha Damien would certainly give up anything valuable to save the woman he truly loves. But you? Do you honestly believe he'd trade his shares in Rothwell Industries just to save your life?"

The idea was crazy. She couldn't be that important to him.
