"Aria, take care of yourself," Dave called out one final time before Oscar escorted him away.
Once Dave had completely disappeared from sight, Alpha Damien's ice-cold gaze fell on Aria's motionless back.
His thin, merciless lips curled into a cruel smile as biting words escaped him.
"Well, Aria, I've released Dave. Now you'll face the consequences of your actions alone. Don't call me cruel—this was your choice."
Aria remained kneeling, completely still.
Despite Alpha Damien's voice being clearly audible, she might as well have been deaf. Her slender fingers still pressed against the cold stone tiles, her hair dancing in the evening breeze.
