"Based on what we've seen, this was arson," the fire chief said seriously. "The ruins should be cleared by tomorrow morning. “
The fire chief paused. He looked up to meet Alpha Damien's sharp eyes. “But Alpha Damien, I must prepare you for the worst. Miss Aria's chances of survival are zero."
The Alpha gave off dangerous energy that sent chills down the chief's spine.
Still, he stayed calm and continued.
"In my opinion, this fire was most likely set by Miss Aria herself."
"Chief! We've found remains!" a firefighter called from across the site.
The chief and Alpha Damien immediately walked over.
The body had been badly burned. It was turned into blackened bones with only the basic outline of a human form.
