Maya and Cassian met with Barto in the dining room. After breakfast, both headed to the entrance. Cassian gave Maya a kiss and said, "Take care of yourself."
"You too."
"Come back soon, remember, I'll be waiting for you."
"I could never forget that. See you soon, Cassian."
Cassian turned to Barto. "Take good care of Maya."
"She's my sister, you don't even need to say it."
Barto mounted a horse that had been prepared for them and extended his hand to help Maya up. As they moved away from the palace, Maya kept waving her hand, saying goodbye to Cassian until she could no longer see him.
"Are you sure you want to travel using a teleportation scroll?" Barto asked.
"Yes, I want to get there as soon as possible. I don't have much time, Barto."
