Cassian understood perfectly how Abril felt because he felt the same way. He loved Maya so much that he preferred to let her go rather than lose her completely. He preferred to know she was well, even if she wasn't with him. After Cassian updated them on everything that had happened since they arrived in the land of the fairies, Abril and Kiara went to the room assigned to them, as they couldn't see Maya. Although Abril wanted to keep Cassian company, he insisted it wasn't necessary.
Abril was playing with Lissana while Kiara was absorbed, staring into the distance as if searching for something.
