As night began to fall, Kiara started to worry about Abril, as she still hadn't come out of the cave. She wondered if she was alright. Kiara began pacing around the cave entrance, and finally, unable to bear the anxiety any longer, she spoke to the guards. "She's taking too long. Why don't you go get her?"
"We're forbidden to enter the cave," one of the guards replied. "We only guard it. If someone goes in, they must come out on their own."
"What?!"
"Sorry, but we can't do anything for your friend. If she decided to enter, she must also decide to leave. Only those who wish to leave the cave can do so. I remember you entered once, but you came out, though it took you two days. So be patient and wait for her to come out."
