Barto took three days to reach the royal capital of Laios. Although he encountered a few monsters along the way, he had no trouble arriving. When he reached the palace gates, he requested an audience with the king, stating that he carried a letter of utmost importance that had to be delivered in person. The guards left him waiting at the gates all day, but eventually, he was allowed into the palace. What appeared to be the king's assistant escorted him to Enzo's office. Upon entering, Barto saw a young man with red hair sitting behind a desk, head bowed as he reviewed some documents.
"Greetings, Your Majesty, King Venobich."
"Do not mention my surname; when you do, it feels like you're talking about my father, not me."
"I apologize, Your Majesty, it was not my intention to offend you."
