Samuel’s voice minimized as I walked away from the door until I heard his heavy receding steps.
I don’t know how to take it, seeing doubt along with shock through his eyes. I am so done with him, but the Goddess knew how much I wanted to be proud to see him finally getting back on his right mind. That he actually is now doubting Alice and everybody else around him.
Alice truly changed him, I know that too well. I watched him go from wise to a literal stupid as he slowly allowed Alice to enter his life.
I was a nobody to Samuel before she even showed up and I remained the same when she came. I already have a clear understanding that no matter what I do, nothing will change.
