Filled with an unimaginable amount of hatred and resentment, after I handed Victoria the missing plant, I decided not to stay for too long.
“Clara, if anything happens back at your pack, you’re very much welcome to stay with us, okay?”
I simply nodded, squeezing Victoria’s hand that was grasping mine.
“But that is if we manage to pull ourselves back with all of the damage the Blue Moon pack had caused,” she added, bitterly chuckling.
“We’re sorry for bringing you trouble.”
After Samuel and I found out that the Blue Moon pack was after us, and they’re only doing all these attacks because of us, we knew that in order to bring back the peace they had, we have to step back into their lives…That’s the only way.
Victoria didn’t say anything in return and just embraced me tight.
