Jake woke to strange shudders and creaks. A black bag was over his head, preventing him from seeing anything, but his ears still worked. He was certain he was on a plane, but it didn’t sound like a commercial flight, unless he was in the luggage compartment.
“Any word from the consulate in Beirut?” a strange voice asked.
“They are on lockdown and have secured their personnel.”
“Too bad they were too late,” a third voice countered.
