The glass in my hand shatters as I clench my fist, and what little remains of the wine I was sipping trickles down my hand. My maid—whom I learned is named Sivan—is quick to clean me up, a look of worry on her face as she takes the glass shards from my skin, allowing the healing process to start.
“How dare that b***h wear red!” I snarl quietly, feeling the need to shift and rip that little w***e Ember to shreds. She looks every bit like a Queen standing beside MY Prince Zaid in that matching ruby red, a prettier red than my own gown—a gown I’d been preparing to seduce the Prince with.
