Shaking while kneeling on the cold stone floor of the Palace corridor, I watch the looks of disdain thrown my way by Prince Zaid and his three friends. Grandfather had told me I would be the next Luna Queen without contention, even as the news that Zaid had found his mate circulated the halls.
