Following Seth through the crowd, I wonder what happened while Aunt Cynthia and I were in the sitting room. I knew by how Rose gloated that her plan had already been put into action and that Zaid would be drugged no matter what we did, but I didn’t expect to leave the sitting room to a ball full of scared wolves with snarls and growls coming from a hallway leading to the bedroom we prepared.
