Walking through the halls of the Palace, I storm past many maids and warriors on duty with one goal in mind: get Ember out of that guest room. My talk with Harold hadn’t gone as expected, and now I needed to find a way to get Ember pregnant within seven days.
Thankfully, Chris had managed to bring Francis and three guards to Ember’s aid just in time, or she might have been killed right then and there.
