"We're visiting an old ally," he said, standing and crossing the room to her. "I thought you could use a change of scenery." Iva blinked, trying to make sense of his words. "Visiting an ally? Where?" She looked around the cabin, her mind finally catching up to her senses. The hum. The vibration. The small, private suite. "This is a plane," she said slowly. "We're on a private plane?!" Caleb's smile grew. "Smart girl." Iva's eyes widened. "I've never flown before," she said, her voice tinged with wonder as by insting she grabbed a chair like trying to keep her balance.
