CHAPTER 115

1489 Words

There is no up or down anymore. No sky. No ground. Only motion and the sickening certainty that I am falling into something I was never meant to reach. The void twists around me like a spiraling tunnel of shattered reality. Mirror shards swirl past my face, each piece reflecting a version of me that does not belong anywhere but nightmares. The fall is not fast. It is slow, deliberate, like the realm itself wants me to feel every inch of descent. My stomach lurches. My pulse pounds so loudly I hear it over the wind that should not exist in a place that is not a place. Fragments of the broken platform I fell from hover in the air beside me, suspended as if time forgot how to function. Light bends around them. Dark glass dissolves into smoke and reforms again, shifting like breathing lungs.
