Third Person POv ### **The Edge of Darkness** Vaden held Sofia tightly in his arms as he sprinted through the hall, his mind a storm of panic and fury. His boots slammed against the marble floor, his heart hammering violently against his ribs. She was limp, her body unnaturally heavy in his grasp. Her skin was clammy, too pale, and the rivulet of blood trickling from her lips was the only color on her ghostly face. “Move!” he bellowed, his voice raw with desperation as his Beta, guards, and members of the pack scrambled out of his way.
