Daniel’s POV-
My eyes remained fixed on Olivia. God, I love how bold and brazen she had become. It has me going rock hard every time. I am not even sure she knows she has that effect on me yet, but we have our whole lives ahead of us for her to figure that out.
Gold growled, “Why were the police here?”
“My egg donor is dead. The police were making notifications and asking questions,” Olivia replied.
“You should have called me, because you don’t answer questions without a lawyer present,” Gold said.
“They were routine questions, and I pointed them in the direction of Vargas. We both know he did this. They will be looking into him, and that will likely bring federal law enforcement to the area. Vargas will feel the pressure, and he will trip up. We will be able to catch him,” Olivia
