Katie’s POV-
Two weeks of endless training and preparing, but complete and utter silence from Alejandro and his cartel. There has been nothing from them. Even after the co-ordinated strikes last week, there has been no counterattack from Alejandro and that has me very concerned.
Over the last two weeks, I have mastered the operation of a handgun. I can reload, clear a jam, even dismantle an entire handgun. I have become a damn good shot. I just worry it won’t be good enough. Phoenix has been training me in a lot of hand-to-hand combat, which has been great. Kenneth has been training me with knives in front of everyone. Training me to disarm the knife from opponent, turn on them, even attack with my own knife. He showed me how to throw knives too.
I even started going on morning jogs
