Katie’s POV-
It felt strange riding on the back of Mike’s bike again, but it felt safe. I felt safe for the first time in years. c*****e was leading, Wolf was on one side of Mike and me. Every time we stopped because of a turn or traffic lights, Wolf was looking at me. I could feel him watching me. Is this how Queenie felt with c*****e always watching her?
I hadn’t been on a motorbike in years, so this was an uncomfortable two-hour ride. When we finally got back to the clubhouse, I struggled to get off the bike. The bruises made my body sore. Add in a two-hour bike ride, and I am sore all over. Mike took his helmet off, and asked, “Are you okay, Katie?”
“Yeah, well no. My injuries and the fact that I haven’t been on a bike in nearly 10 years, I am a bit stiff,” I replied.
