Daniel has been incredible. He has been my rock. The rest of the day we were stuck beside Mike, helping him plan and prepare for tonight. Katie hadn’t come out of her room once. Beth had gone in and had made sure she ate something, but Beth told me that Katie says she didn’t want to be here anymore. Honestly, I can understand why. Her dad and brother shielded her too much from this life. Mike and Katie lost their mother because of this life. Their dad wanted to keep Katie as far as he could from this life, so she had a way out.
