When we got into the common room, Mike approached us straight away. He clearly had the conversation Katie wanted to have with him. I didn’t like that she wanted to have that talk and I tried to talk her out of it, but her mind was set in stone. It does have me very worried about her being up there all alone, but it is her choice. She is truly trying to separate herself from this life. I don’t think anyone can blame her.
“Did she tell you what she wants?” Mike asked.
I nodded, “I tried to talk her out of it, but she really wants to try and break away from this life. I don’t think because she hates this life, she just can’t deal with any more heartbreak because she loses more people she loves.”
