Wolf’s POV-
Three days flew by, and in that time, we made some wonderful memories and thankfully no one followed us. We certainly didn’t see anyone following us. But Phoenix was getting sent updates on the growing list of hitmen that were coming out of the woodwork to find us. Ten so far and six of them work together; the other four are the bottom of the barrel, utterly useless and don’t have the means or skill to matter at all. But that doesn’t mean that we are not watching out for them. We did learn that the hit on Queenie got closed. Alejandro clearly wanted all the hitmen to focus on finding Katie, because she had disappeared and that is all he knew.
