I have never experienced so much love or care on my birthday. I never received any gifts or well wishes from anyone on my birthday, except Megan and Benny, before today. Today, everyone at school wished me a happy birthday, which I am sure Daniel had something to do with it. Daniel wasn’t kidding when he said he had more surprises for me. When we got to school, he presented me with another gift, which he had stashed in a bag on his bike. He handed me a box, which I opened straight away, to find a small beautiful gold watch with a thin brown leather strap. I had never really worn watches before, but he told me he brought one because I was going to be a businesswoman and needed a high-end watch to wear during business meetings.
