Katie’s POV-
All I could think about in the shower was Wolf. We have kissed a couple of times, since I returned to the Knights. But now he has said that he likes me, that he wants me. That he should have forced me to stay back when he first met me. If he had then, yeah maybe I wouldn’t have been hurt. But at the same time, we wouldn’t have known who Alejandro was or these grand plots he has against the Phoenix Knights.
I was so focused on what he had said that I didn’t even realize I hadn’t brought any clothes in with me to change into, and the sleepwear that I do have isn’t exactly appropriate for me to wear in front of Wolf. Tiny silk negligées are all I had sleepwear wise in my bag, and that would be a little too revealing for this situation, because what if we had to leave fast?
