Katie’s POV-
For the next five minutes, I kept my head down and got things ready for the morning like I always did. Then I heard a thud. I glanced towards the office and saw Alejandro fast asleep, passed out across his desk. Thank f**k it worked. I ran straight upstairs, slipped my jacket and sneakers on. I grabbed my backpack, and ran out of the house.
As soon as I got out onto the main street, I hailed a taxi, and asked him to take me to the bus station. There were going to be about ten different buses leaving in the next hour and a half. So, he would have a hard time finding me. Ten buses, ten different locations to search for me in. It will give me time to get to my brother.
