There was an interminable silence, as if they wanted us to squirm a little, or maybe to say something first. It probably only lasted a few seconds, but it felt like an eternity. I had no idea what to say and, judging by her silence, Emily didn't either. Finally, and mercifully, Maya broke the silence. "You guys have been really bad," she said in a playful sort of tone, the grin still on her face. "If you wanted to watch, you could have just asked."
Then she paused, her eyes focused on me and my exposed erection, not Emily. I still had no idea what to say and no idea what they expected to happen next.
